History
Hairbag was recruited by Mister Sinister to be a member of his Nasty Boys, whose sole purpose was to harass the government-sponsored team X-Factor.[5]
During those altercations, Hairbag often fought against Wolfsbane, his opposite number. In the Nasty Boys' final fight, Hairbag was captured along with his teammate Slab and taken to a holding cell by X-Factor. While he waited for his lawyer to negotiate bail, Hairbag and Slab were broken out of prison by the Mutant Liberation Front and returned to the Nasty Boys shortly afterwards.[6]
He retained his mutant powers after the events of M-Day and, together with Slab and Gorgeous George, opened a lab for MGH production.[4]
He was later captured by a cyborg-enhanced William Stryker and mind-controlled into working for his cult, along with Sauron, Pyro, and numerous other mutants. Sabretooth and his Weapon X-Force team managed to free him from Mentallo's mind-control, along with the others. He then subsequently became one of the many mutants to follow Creed back into battle and take out Stryker permanently.[7]
When the Upstarts resurfaced, Hairbag and the other Nasty Boys were killed only to be used as bait to lure out the X-Men.[2]
Hairbag was apparently resurrected by the Five on Krakoa, as he was confirmed to be alive and living on the Keep by Peeper during the Genesis War.[3]Attributes
