History
The MacTaggert Crystal a magical gemstone and source of great. In ancient times, the MacTaggert Crystal was divided in two.[1]
Desiring to conqueror all kingdoms, the powerful sorcerer Magnus the Malevolent found one half of the MacTaggert Crystal and began to attack. Desiring the other half of the crystal, Magnus hired Gambit of the Guild of Thieves to steal it from vaults of the Handsome Prince and Princess Jean. However, Gambit realized the crystal was too much power for Magnus and tried to hide it. Together with the outlaw hero Jubilee and her right hand troll Logan, the trio was able to seek into Magnus' Fortress to steal his half of the crystal. Unfortunately, Magnus captured the heroes and reunited the two halves of the MacTaggert Crystal. Tricky him into absorbing her power, Magnus was unable to control his own power and was buried under himself under metal and inadvertently freeing the heroes.[1]
