History
Louis XVI was the last King of France before the fall of the monarchy during the French Revolution. When King Louis XVI took the throne he made the Palace of Versailles his home. However he had litte interest in politics and buried himself in his obsessions with locks and watchmaking while the nation's crises festered.[1]
In 1775, Dracula travelled to Versailles and became an adviser to King Louis XVI. Dracula continued his feud with Cogliostro and surmised he no longer had the Darkhold. No longer fearing the Montesi Formula, Dracula vampirized Cogliostro's wife, Lorenza, as retribution for past slights.[2]
In 1789, Tourneau became chief-executioner to King Louis XVI and wished to find a more efficient means of executing prisoners. A physician named Joseph-Ignace Guillotin provided him designs for a mechanized decapitation device. The device (dubbed the guillotine) was tested and validated on July 13.[3] When the French Revolution came King Louis XVI's people brought a new device to the palace for him to contemplate, "The Guillotine" and he was executed on January 21, 1793.[1]Notes
- This is a fictionalized version of Louis XVI, a real historical figure.
