Gata Sombra is a superheroine. Her past story possibly parallels to some point that of his Earth-616counterpart, with the variations due to the tongue-in-cheek, fourth-wall-breaking nature of Earth-TRN1046.
In this scene, Gata Sombra explains what happened with Pícara and Arpón.
At one time, supervillain Harpoon threw one of his sheer energy harpoons to superheroine Pícara, but Gata Sombra saved her[1] (possibly in the same way this happened on Earth-616, where Shadowcat used her intangibility powers to protect both herself and Rogue from Harpoon's energy harpoon).[2] Gata Sombra's powers reacted weirdly and she became unable to become tangible herself again. She found that this languished her own romantic life, as prospective partners were reluctant to stay with her if they could not even touch her. In not her first attempt to rekindle social activities, Gata Sombra went to a nightclub alone and was approached by superhero Superioribus, who found her attractive and, as she was dressed as a superheroine, probably with things in common with her. Superioribus talked to her, attracting her attention and trying to find a common ground - then tried to touch her shoulder, noticed he could not touch her, and excused himself embarassingly to leave and supposedly fight Seven Electric Mutant Eaters. Gata Sombra stayed behind, complaining about her luck.[1]
