John Haux (Earth-616)

John Haux was a deeply religious man, a Catholic, who became an alcoholic and ended up working as an assassin for hire. Taking the code name Hammersmith, he was sent by the Nine to kill the new Wolfpack. He attempted to do so, but was beaten by them and, already in mental agony, escaped.. He overcome his alcoholism for good, cleaned himself up, and returned to the Wofkpack to complete their training. Because of his guidance, the Wolfpack were able to finally defeat the Nine.
