History
Originally from New York City, Jimmy Rubino was one of the replacements who arrived in Vietnam in February of 1967.[1]
One month later, Jimmy was introduced by Sergeant Polkow to Lt. Alarnick, their new platoon leader.[2]
He later participated in a pacifying mission in South Vietnam.[3]
In June of 1967, Rubino found sand in his speakers.[4]
Jimmy watched Sergeant Little complaining in vain to his superiors about Lt. Alarnick.[5]
In August of 1967, Rubino rescued Marine pilots Irish and Drum when their plane was hit by N.V.A. fire.[6]
He later participated in a recon mission with Royal Thai Army Sergeant Bo.[7]See Also
