Jahli was Conan's page boy when he was the Kothian general of El Shah Maddoc.[1]
As Jahli was the legitimate heir, Conan planned to overthrow King Maddoc II and put Jahli on the throne.[2]
Believing he would be safer, his mother took him from the security of the castle to Syreeta, one of her former house maids.[3]
