Jackson Rogers (Earth-TRN858)

Simply a father[]

Jack Rogers was the descendant of Captain America, he married Darla Rogers, but she died too early. In a future where the Super-Soldier Serum was a cure for all diseases, his son Steve was ill, caused by an anomaly of his DNA so his blood was rejecting the serum. Jack tried to ask the U.S.A. President to reveal the atomic structure of the serum, but General Theta-Pursur of the Kree Empire disapproved because it was secret data. Jack found his inspiration in Captain America whose missions were watched by Jack using a Timelens; Jack went into Pursur's office, where he found secret files about the serum which said that Kree were transforming humans into a sleeper army using the serum itself, thanks to a modification of its structure. Pursur's A.I., Commander Ranga, found Rogers and activated the alarms, but he escaped, so Pursur began a manhunt to find Jack.

History and Legend[]

Jack went to the Guild of Historians, but the other historians believed that he had gone mad. An older historian called Old Vic revealed to Jack the truth about the last battle of Captain America against Red Skull in Washington, D.C. and, when the Kree's Peacekeepers attacked the guild, Jack escaped via a secret escape and arrived in Washington where he found a giant Cosmic Cube and Captain America's Shield. Jack used the shield to destroy the Cube, but inside it there was the Red Skull who attacked him, believing that Jack was Steve, but when the historian asked for mercy, the Skull understood his error. Jack told him about the situation of U.S.A. and he offered his assistance to help Red Skull tae power using a plan devised by Jack: when they arrived in Pursur's office, they uncovered Pursur's plan of conquest using the Cosmic Power of the Skull, while Jack took files on his son's DNA structure.

Unity is Strength[]

When the Kree attacked Earth, Red Skull used his powers to fight them, meanwhile Jack captured General Pursur and explained to him that he discovered why his son and the other boys' illness were caused by the same thing and hidden from each other, because the boys had a Kree recessive gene, so Jack discovered that the serum, which presumably didn't have any effects on Krees, had the effect of killing the blue aliens. Jack used a machine for reading minds on Pursur to discover where the serum was kept and used it as a weapon against Kree. Jack tried to launch an appeal to the more important people, but Red Skull attacked and refused to help Rogers saving his son, so Jack pretended to swear loyalty to the villain, but when he touched the Skull's hand, he used him as a living Cosmic Cube and, connected with all other Americans, and dried up the Skull of his power, using the latter to heal all of them. After those events Jack and Steve helped people in the post-war-rebuilding of three years.
