After years of apparent solitude, Emma brought a sense of peace and happiness to her husband, the noted surgeon, Noah Burstein. Emma was captured by Bushmaster and held hostage to force Dr. Burstein to cure his condition.^[1]

Emma was strangled to death by Caleb Morgan when she threatened to divulge his father's business relationship with Mateo Corello.^[2]
