History
Scott Summers was elected Presidents of the United States of America on a pro-Mutant platform. On the nights of his inauguration, protestors stormed the White House. Scott went to address the protestors, but was assassinated from the crowd. Although he survived the wound, in pain he lashed out. This created destroyed any goodwill towards mutants from humanity. His wife Emma Frost was erased from existence by Phoenix, who claimed that his rule would lead to a global disaster. She offered Scott to undo this timeline in favor of the one where Jean Grey was still alive. Scott agreed, even knowing that he would not remember the life he was leaving behind.[1]
