History

Spider-Man had a confrontation with Doctor Octopus, who kidnapped Mary Jane. The hero defeated Doc Ock and saved the woman he loved. Since then she knew he was Peter Parker.[1]
Some time later, Peter continued to combie his normal life with the life of Spider-Man. However, one day MJ started to doubt she could rely on Peter and Peter's friend Harry found out that he was Spider-Man - the man who killed his father, who was also know as Green Goblin. When Peter almost killed Harry, an alien symbiote took advantage of his vulnerable phychological state and turned him into a black costumed Spider-Man. Under the symbiote affection he didn't care about anything. Then he crossed Eddie Brock's path, fought Harry again and only when he nearly killed Sandman, a new villain in town, Spider-Man noticed he became different. He got rid of the suit, which then attached to Eddie and they became Venom. Venom kidnapped Mary Jane and tried to take revenge on Spider-Man, but the hero defeated Venom and saved Mary Jane. Venom promised to strike again and Mary Jane finally was convinced that Peter would always be there for her.[2]Notes
