History
Death Grip was the mercenary leader of The Touch, a cult obsessed with conquering death. He encountered Deadpool for the first time after beating him to killing Hénry Laponté. During a subsequent fight, Death Grip tore Deadpool in half and left him for dead. As he was leaving, Deadpool regenerated and stabbed him in the back. Surviving the attack and knocking down Deadpool, Death Grip left the scene pleasantly surprised that his opponent was immortal.[1] Death Grip subsequently took the Muramasa Blade from Solem after Crossbones failed to kill Deadpool.[2]
