History
The history of Dani Moonstar diverged from that of her Earth-616 self after Magik lost her Soulsword to S'ym, who took over control of Limbo from her. With her sword shattered, Illyana lost the ability to teleport out of Limbo and got trapped there along with her companions at the time, Rahne Sinclair, Dani Moonstar and Madelyne Pryor. Illyana lacked the strength to defeat S'ym, so the four women picked a fort to use as a defensive positions against the Demons. Rahne and Dani perished together in an attack within the first few years.[1]
