When the X-Men were summoned by their fellow mutant Sunfire to help thwart the menace of Moses Magnum, the Japanese Government, unaware that Sunfire called in the X-Men, try to reach the Avengers, and when they prove unavailable, the Canadian Government loans Japan their team of Alpha Flight.[1]
