Alfie O'Meagan (Earth-8908)

Alfie was a mutant and childhood friend of John Doe during their time in the orphanage. John was eventually adopted by an elderly man who trained Doe into becoming a ninja assassin for the CIA. Alfie was adopted by the O'Meagan family, a CIA group who adopted Alfie due to his powers.^{[citation needed]}

As Alfie was growing more powerful he was also losing his sanity. He destroyed all of the world's nuclear weapons, but it turned Cold War into an actual all-out war, the World War 3. When the USSR had launched the biological weapons, Alfie attempted to turn them harmless. Unfortunately, it backfired due to his growing insanity, the bioweapons became a mutagenic virus, and millions of people were transformed into psychotic, cannibalistic "moots". The world became a plague-ridden post-apocalyptic landscape torn by wars.^{[citation needed]}

At some point a different reality warper from another universe, Jamie Braddock from Earth-616, manipulated his reality and sent Rachel Summers and Nightcrawler to Alfie's world. After a short confrontation with Alfie, they managed to return home.^[1]

  • Size Increase: He can grow to up to 3000 miles tall.^[2]
  • Energy Projection: He can fire energy beams.^[2]
  • Self Sustenance: Alfie can survive indefinitely in outer space.^[2]
  • Mental Duplication: He can split his consciousness into thousands of pieces, each acting independently, though the more pieces, the greater the concentration needed and the weaker each part is.^[2]

Formerly used the Lincoln Memorial to traverse through space.

• While he can alter his size, he seems to have a maximum size equivalent to three times the height of Galactus.

• Alphie's name is a play on words "Alpha Omega"
