Sprinkler Scalers is a 2-vs-2 minigame in Mario Party DS.

Gameplay[]

The object for each team is to climb up a pipe and be the first to exit. On each team, both teammates have to each input the same button to either climb upward or to rotate to the left or right, which varies depending on the button. If the teammates do not press the same button, they slide downward slightly. There are bolts along the path, and the teammates cannot climb past them unless they rotate the pipe's direction so that one of the bolts is facing the front.

Whoever reaches the end first is the winner. If both teams reach the goal at the exact same time or if neither escape within five minutes, the minigame ends in a tie.

Ending[]

Both characters on the winning team stand in front of an activated spinning sprinkler, where they perform their victory animation. This scene is not shown if the minigame ends in a tie.

Controls[]

Each control only works if both characters press the button either at the same time or one directly after the other.
