Physical description[]
They are flying skeletal birds that wear a green hood, a red bandanna and have two wings.
Behavior[]
Skeleton Birds attack by spitting green clumps of goo that can turn Wario into Zombie Wario.
In Wario Land 4[]
Skeleton Birds are encountered in the Sapphire Passage levels, such as Crescent Moon Village, and the Golden Passage level itself. To attack a Skeleton Bird, Wario has to be in his Zombie form. Upon taking a hit, a Skeleton Bird crumbles into a head, which can be defeated by Wario, regardless of his form.
During the ending cutscene, a Skeleton Bird and two Men'onos are shown in one of Wario's flashbacks.
