A Sad Rex is an enemy in Super Princess Peach.

Physical description[]

Sad Rexes are a variant of Rex and look nearly identical to it, except they are constantly crying due to being imbued with the Gloom vibe.

Behavior[]

Sad Rexes usually sit in any location and weep, but whenever Peach approaches a Sad Rex, it begins to cry and charges at her. If stomped, a Sad Rex shrinks and moves at the speed of a regular Rex.

In Super Princess Peach[]

Sad Rexes first appear in the level Ladida Plains 1-9, but they can mostly be found at Fury Volcano. After stomping a Sad Rex, Peach can then flip it over and pick it up to be thrown. Peach can defeat a Sad Rex by whacking it with Perry, along with various other attacks as well.
