An Offensive Power Shot is a type of Power Shot used by tennis players in both Mario Power Tennis and Mario Tennis: Power Tour. It allows a character to perform their own special move while passing the tennis ball so that it is harder for the receiver to pass it back. The opposite of an Offensive Power Shot is a Defensive Power Shot, which allows one to block the effects of an Offensive Power Shot. Like Defensive Power Shots, activating an Offensive Power Shot causes the tennis ball to pause in midair before the user hits it.
