Mario Party 9 is a Nintendo Wii game released in 2012. There are 82 mini-games, with Free-For-Alls (44), 1 vs Rivals (10), Bowser Jr. (10), and Boss Battles (14). There are also 4 Extra mini-games that can be played on Extras. You must unlock these to play them in free for all.
Make your way across floating platforms toward the goal. If you fall, you'll lose a heart. If you have any hearts remaining, you'll return to the platforms.
Hold the Wii remote sideways. Press arrow keys to move, press 2 to jump.
Players choose a panel and watch as number on the back boosts them, another player, or everybody. Be the first player to raise your platform to 10 to win!

Watch the jewels fall into the chests, and then track the Monty Moles as they burrow. Try to pick a chest with jewels in it. The player with the most jewels after three rounds wins!

Try to accurately count the number of Goombas that run across the screen. Be careful you don't count other creatures in your tally.
Hold the Wii remote sideways. When a Goomba run by, press A to count it. The number of times you press should be the same or almost the same to the number of Goombas.
The solo player must try to smash into the other players including Dry Bones by chasing them around the course. The solo player wins by taking down all of the other players.

The solo player hits the floor the other players are standing on in order to bounce the Spiked Ball in their direction. The solo player must hit all of the other players to win.

The solo player must hammer the other players before they can earn points. The other players earn points by staying above ground without getting hit.

Return the picture panels to their correct positions! The first side to complete their image wins!

Use the seesaw to launch you and your teammate into the air, and pop all of Bowser Jr.'s balloons.
Hold the Wii Remote sideways. Press arrow keys to move and 2 to get on the seesaw while on the ground. The player on the seesaw can press arrow keys to move it left or right.
Catch Bowser Jr. as he climbs around the fence. Hit Bowser Jr. from the other side of the fence to temporarily stun him.
Hold the Wii Remote sideways. Press arrow keys to move and 1 to hit the fence. Press 1 while on one of the revolving doors to switch which side of the fence you're on.
Drop Bowser Jr.! Ground-pound a switch to highlight a row of blocks. Do it at the same time as your team mate to make a block disappear where your two rows intersect.
Hold the Wii Remote sideways. Press arrow keys to move, 2 to jump, and 2 while jumping to perform a ground pound.
Ground-pound the segments of Wiggler's body to deal damage. The segments with the purple mark are worth one point, and the segment with the red mark is worth three.
Players each choose 0 or 1 turns of the platform. Try picking a number that keeps you from winding up under Whomp! Players left standing can ground-pound Whomp for points!

Jump on the machine, each time add 1 turn of the platform.
Lob bombs at King Bob-omb! Bombs are thrown in order from left to right, and bigger bombs do more damage. Be careful: if two players or more select the same bomb, neither gets to throw it!

Throws a bomb away (if there are less than 4 players), the player who select that bomb can't throw it.
Throws a bomb to attack players who can't throw a bomb.
Grab a hammer as fast as you can to knock the rolling Spiked Balls back at Spike! Gold hammers are worth three points, iron hammers are worth one, and branches aren't worth anything!
Watch the tracks, and choose a mine cart that will lead you to a cannon. Don't let your rivals get to the good carts before you! Gold cannons are worth three points, iron cannons are worth one.
Hit the Dice Blocks. The number that appears will light segments of the gauge at the top of the screen. Light specific segments of the gauge to deal damage to Bowser Jr.

Light Bowser Jr. segments, he will summon two 1-2 Dice Blocks down and attacks you depends on those Dice Blocks.
There are three Bowser Jr. segments instead of one.
Throw the dice! The more pictures of your character that show up on the dice, the more damage you'll do to Bowser. Be careful: if Bowser shows up on the dice, he gets to attack!

Attack you with the dice.
Throw his own dice down to summon any of his previous bosses, include himself.
Note: Diddy's Banana Blast and DK's Banana Bonus don't actually count as boss mini-games, since they don't appear in Boss Rush. They do appear in Free Play as Boss Minigames, however.
