Junior is a spoiled and misbehaved kid from Brooklyn, New York City who made a one-time appearance in the The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 episode "Misadventures in Babysitting." He has a mother and father who struggle to find a babysitter for him, and Junior has his own pet cat named Kitty, although he appears to have abused it.

When Luigi and Mario end up in Brooklyn through finding a drainpipe, they inexplicably end up near the residence of Junior's family. Mistaking them for babysitters, Junior's parents praise them for their promptness, then immediately drive away before the plumbers get a chance to back out. Junior ends up in the Mushroom Kingdom through the same pipe Luigi and Mario used, then thinks this is a great place to cause trouble. This gets the attention of the Koopa Kids, who think it would be fun to pull a prank on them. Mario and Luigi go the Mushroom Kingdom to look for Junior, where they see him cry for help when Roy Koopa grabbed him. However, the kidnapping was faked but the plumbers think the Koopa Kids are up to no good and rush into a cave. They are promptly trapped when the Koopa Kids seal the cave shut. Junior thinks that was a great prank, but when the Koopa Kids propose flooding the cave with lava, Juinior thinks that is going too far. His idea was to prank the Mario Brothers, not kill them. The Koopa Kids turn on Junior, then putting him into the same trap. Mario and Luigi use a Super Leaf to escape. Returning to Brooklyn, Junior thanks Luigi and Mario for saving him and resolves to turn over a new leaf with his nasty attitude. Junior's parents are due back soon, and Mario gets Junior into the bathtub while using soapsuds to hide the racoon ears and tails of himself and Luigi, who are still in their Racoon forms. Junior's parents come home to find Junior in the bathtub (albeit fully dressed). Impressed that they managed to control Junior so well that he took his bath, the parents ask if they would be hired again for next Friday night. Junior says that would be great, although Luigi and Mario are not as enthusiastic.
