Description[]

Happiness Medals are medals that the Spirits of Yoshi's Island award Yoshi with for completing missions. To receive a Happiness Medal, Yoshi has to complete the tasks provided by a Spirit. A certain minimum number of Happiness Medals are required to access the next chapter.

There are two types of Happiness Medals, the Silver Medal and the Gold Medal. Yoshi earns a Silver Medal if he gets a score near the requirement, and the player gets two chances in the Bonus Chance!. A Gold Medal is earned if Yoshi gets a score better than that required by the Spirits, and it also gives the player better odds at winning the Bonus Chance!.
