Elevator buttons are a series of items in in Luigi's Mansion 3.
Description[]
Elevator buttons are the buttons for The Last Resort's elevator, and each button allows access to a different floor of the hotel. The floor number corresponding to the elevator button is labeled on the button itself.
In Luigi's Mansion 3[]
After King Boo and Hellen Gravely activate their trap on Luigi and his friends, all of the elevator buttons are removed from the elevator's control panel except for the one for B1, and the other elevator buttons are each distributed to powerful ghosts. During his journey, Luigi must defeat the various boss ghosts to retrieve the elevator buttons and return them to the control panel so that more floors of The Last Resort can become accessible. Most of the elevator buttons are obtained in numerical order. In most cases, Luigi receives the button immediately after defeating the bosses, but some require him to solve a puzzle or catch another ghost that steals the button before he can collect it. When Luigi returns a button to the elevator, there is an animation in which it vibrates out of Luigi's hand as it reinserts itself into the control panel.
The elevator buttons to the first and fifth floors are guarded by the Steward in the Basement. He is the only ghost with two elevator buttons.
The third floor elevator button is guarded by Chambrea at RIP Suites.
The second floor elevator button is guarded by Kruller at Hotel Shops.
The fourth floor elevator button is guarded by Chef Soulfflé at Mezzanine. However, before Luigi can obtain the elevator button after defeating Chef Soulfflé, a Mouse comes to steal it, and Luigi has to chase after the Mouse through a few rooms before he can obtain it again.
The sixth floor elevator button is guarded by Amadeus Wolfgeist at The Great Stage.
The seventh floor elevator button is guarded by King MacFrights at Castle MacFrights.
The eighth floor elevator button is guarded by Dr. Potter at Garden Suites.
The ninth floor elevator button is guarded by Morty at Paranormal Productions. Morty willingly gives it to Luigi after he defeats a Goob in a monster suit. However, after Luigi returns to the elevator with the elevator button, Polterkitty comes to steal it, and Luigi has to recover the elevator button from it.
The B2 elevator button is guarded by Ug at Unnatural History Museum, more specifically held by the imprisoned blue Toad guarded by Ug.
The tenth floor elevator button is guarded by Clem at Boilerworks.
The eleventh floor elevator button is guarded by Serpci at Tomb Suites.
The twelfth floor elevator button is guarded by Nikki, Lindsey, & Ginny in the Twisted Suites.
The thirteenth floor elevator button is guarded by Captain Fishook at The Spectral Catch.
The fourteenth floor elevator button is guarded by Johnny Deepend at the Fitness Center. Like with the ninth floor elevator button, this elevator button is also stolen by Polterkitty at the elevator, forcing Luigi to retrieve it from Polterkitty.
The fifteenth floor elevator button is guarded by DJ Phantasmagloria at The Dance Hall. This is the last elevator button for Luigi to obtain.
