Egg Swing is Yoshi's Star Swing in Mario Super Sluggers. It replaces his Egg Ball move from Mario Superstar Baseball, and his pitching move has similarly been replaced with Rainbow Ball.

Description[]

Upon initiating Egg Swing, Yoshi lays a Yoshi Egg and then hits it. The Yoshi Egg then bounces around the field as a rainbow trails behind it. After bouncing two or three times, the Yoshi Egg stops, disappears, and the ball takes its place.

Trivia[]

• The Yoshi Egg can possibly bounce far enough to one side to go over the fence, which would count as a ground rule double.
