Background[]
Zan was an alien from the planet Exor. He and his sister Jayna were Exorian metas whose parents died during a plague. No one adopted them because they were freaks, but they were eventually taken in by a kind circus clown while being forced to perform for the circus. They escaped and eventually made their way to Earth, joining the Justice League. Zan had the ability to transform into anything related to water and ice after touching his sister, including liquid nitrogen, monsoons, or a frost giant. In his ice form he could assume any shape, from a holding cell to a jet engine. He could draw on surrounding water to enhance himself, and touching his sister could also break him from mind control.
