“ "I am the will of man unbound by flesh."
— Xerath Xerath
Separator

The Ancient Ascendant is Xerath Xerath who stole the power from the fabled Ascension ritual. Killing him bestows the "Ascension" buff, which buffs and enlarges the recipient. One cannot ascend by killing another Ascended; instead, the Ancient Ascendant will reform and must be slain again, repeating the cycle.

The Ancient Ascendant is defined as a neutral monster, so spells like Consume Consume and Feast Feast can deal true damage to him. However, Consume Consume and Feast Feast is not able to kill him due to his special passive "Ancient Ascendant".

Abilities[]

The Ancient Ascendant has three abilities. Unlike other monsters, the Ancient Ascendant's abilities do not scale with his attack damage, but rather his ability damage.
