Ken Ashiwara (芦原 賢, Ashiwara Ken) was an expert marksman member of NEVER. In Kamen Rider W Forever: A to Z/The Gaia Memories of Fate, he becomes the Trigger Dopant (トリガー・ドーパント, Torigā Dōpanto).
Biography[]
He is a young man with knowledge of various firearms. He was a former military firearms expert before he was killed in a gunfight, leaving behind a family. Revived as a Necro-Over, Ken slowly began to lose his humanity, much like his teammates. He has a habit of proclaiming "Game start" when beginning combat.
Otherwise, he might say "Game over". He fights Kamen Rider Accel on several occasions both in and out of Dopant form (even defeating Terui once, by saying "Time up") before being defeated by AccelTrial's Machine Gun Spike Maximum Drive. Ken got the Trigger Memory and plugged to his hand just like the Gene Dopant.
Appearances in other media[]
Futo Tantei[]
Ken and his fellow NEVER members appear in Futo Tantei Chapter 77 Flashback.
Abilities[]
From his training as regular human being, Ken is an expert marksman, with his preferred firearm being a machine gun. His later training and Necro-Over enhancements further empowering him, Ken proved more than capable of matching the likes of Ryu Terui in combat, toying with him effortlessly. This sadistic personality though, ultimately proved to be his undoing, giving Ryu enough time to regain his powers as Kamen Rider Accel.
