The Transformation Belt Two Sidriver (変身ベルト ツーサイドライバー, Henshin Beruto Tsū Saidoraibā) is the transformation device used by both Kamen Rider Evil and Kamen Rider Live. The main portion of the Two Sidriver can be removed and used as either the Livegun or Evilblade, depending on which mode it is in. The Livegun is used primarily by Live, while the Evilblade is primarily used by Evil.
Kagero later made George construct a second Two Sidriver so that he could duel with Daiji. The original Two Sidriver vanished upon Kagero being sealed into the Holy Wing Vistamp, while the second copy is still being used by Daiji. The driver would be destroyed by Muramasa during the battle with Alicorn, though it was rebuilt not long afterwards.
Variants[]
Overview[]
Like the Revice Driver, the Two Sidriver was created by George Karizaki and given to Daiji Igarashi after realizing the latter was being influenced by his inner demon. It is equipped with the built-in program Two Side Engine (ツーサイドエンジン, Tsū Saido Enjin), allowing one to choose between two kinds of transformation. This makes it possible to perform a transformation with the Evil System (エビルシステム, Ebiru Shisutemu) that extremely amplifies the negative energy of the user as a preliminary step, or a special transformation with the Live System (ライブシステム, Raibu Shisutemu) that doubles the positive energy by utilizing the reaction thereof.
Design[]
The Two Sidriver is composed of the following parts:
- Two Side Trigger (ツーサイドトリガー, Tsū Saido Torigā): The trigger. After pulling out the Livegun or Evilblade with the Vistamp set, it is pressed strongly to initiate the Versus Up. In addition, after transformation, it becomes the starting point for various attacks, including Genome Changes and finishing moves.
- Two Side Grip (ツーサイドグリップ, Tsū Saido Gurippu): The grip. A grip that is held with the right hand when operating the Two Sidriver. It also functions as a handle for the Livegun and Evilblade.
- Vistamp Slot (バイスタンプゴースロット, Baisutanpu Gō Surotto): The Vistamps loading slot. By setting the Vistamp stamped on the stamping-type information input device Ohinjector, genetic information is supplied to the Genomic Converter power source.
- Genomic Convertor (ゲノミックコンバーター, Genomikku Konbātā): The built-in power source. It has the role of extracting high-purity energy, which is the source of life, from the genetic information stored in the Vistamp, converting it into the powerful energy Genome Power (ゲノムパワー, Genomu Pawā) by accelerating and amplifying it, and supplying it to the entire body.
- Reversal Selector (リバーサルセレクター, Ribāsaru Serekutā): The mode switching device. By rotating this, the Two Side Engine built-in program is reversed, and one can choose to transform into Kamen Rider Live or Kamen Rider Evil.
- Genome Transceiver (ゲノムトランシーバー, Genomu Toranshībā): The built-in receiver. After the separation of the Livegun or the Evilblade, it has the role of mutually transmitting energy and the genetic information of the species.
- Ohinjector (オーインジェクター, Ōinjekutā): The stamping-type information input device. It receives the power of various species of organisms by stamping the special information transmission code of the Vistamp, known as the Vistamp Code (バイスタンプコード, Baisutanpu Kōdo). In addition, the approval sequence is executed at the same time as the input, and the safety of the received data is confirmed.
- Two Sibind (ツーサイバインド, Tsū Saibaindo): The belt. It is deployed at the time as setting the Driver and fixes to the waist of the user. It is equipped with the function to analyze the life energy of the user.
- Vistamp Holder (バイスタンプホルダー, Baisutanpu Horudā): Holders for carrying Vistamps. They are placed on the left and right sides of the Two Sidriver and a Vistamp can be set in each.
Functionality[]
Transformation[]
To transform, the user presses the Activation Knock Button on the Vistamp before stamping it on the Two Sidriver's Ohinjector. The user then inserts the Vistamp into the slot and pulls out the Evilblade/Livegun from the belt before pressing the trigger. Depending on whether the Evilblade or Livegun is used, the user will transform into either Kamen Rider Evil or Kamen Rider Live.
- Evil: A swarm of bats is produced from the user's shadow before combing into a single large bat that swallows the user. It then twists, transforming into a projection of a stamp that fills with green liquid while the Rider suit forms around the submerged user. Finally, Kamen Rider Evil uses the Evilblade to cut themselves out of the Vistamp projection.
- Live: The process for Kamen Rider Live is the same as Evil, except the bat swarm, large combined bat, and stamp projection are white instead of black. Upon completion, Live uses the Livegun to shoot down the stamp projection.
To change between forms, the user can simply press the Activation Knock Button on the Vistamp, insert it into the slot of the separated weapon, and pull the trigger.
Finisher[]
- Main article: Finisher (Revice)
To perform a finisher, the user presses the Activation Knock on the Vistamp before pulling the trigger. Using the Evilblade results in the Darkness Finish (ダークネスフィニッシュ, Dākunesu Finisshu) while using the Livegun results in the Justis Finish (ジャスティスフィニッシュ, Jasutisu Finnishu).
Users (chronological order)[]
User | Kamen Rider | Episode Obtained | Description |
---|---|---|---|
Kagero | Kamen Rider Evil | The World Reforming Rider! Who Is the Traitor!? | The Two Sidriver was given to Daiji Igarashi by George Karizaki after Daiji was possessed by his inner demon, Kagero, because the scientist was curious to see its effects from being used directly by a demon-possessed human.
Kagero later used Daiji's Driver in their battle against each other. After Kagero is defeated, the Driver vanishes alongside him. |
Daiji Igarashi | Kamen Rider Live | Older and Younger Brother, the Heart That Believes (First)
|
After reconciling with his older brother, Daiji gains the strength to suppress his demon and use the Driver to become Kamen Rider Live. When Kagero separates Daiji from him so that they can battle, he uses Daiji's Driver and gives him a second Two Sidriver that he had taken from George.
The Driver was later taken by Kamen Rider Juuga after Kagero was defeated. It was later returned to Daiji prior to the events of the final stage. During the events of Revice Forward: Kamen Rider Live & Evil & Demons, Daiji's driver was destroyed by Muramasa. It was later fixed by George Karizaki. |

Two Sidriver Buckle (ツーサイドライバーバックル, Tsū Saidoraibā Bakkuru): Allows any of the Geats Riders to access Live Form, which is equipped with the Livegun. It is based on Kamen Rider Live and his transformation belt, the Two Sidriver.
Behind the Scenes[]
Portrayal[]
The Two Sidriver is voiced by Shingo Fujimori (藤森 慎吾, Fujimori Shingo).
Notes[]
- The Livegun is modeled after a spray gun used for spray painting, matching the spray paint motif used by Kamen Rider Evil.
- The transformation standby announcement is based on the American rhyme "Eeny, meeny, miny, moe", which is often used to pick between several choices. This references how the user can pick and choose between transforming into either Evil or Live. The cadence of the standby is also different depending on the Rider; Evil's version is much more ominous, whereas Live's is much more uplifting.
- The Driver's name carries a deeper meaning after Kagero and Daiji decided to fight together and form EvilytyLive, as the merged form evokes the phrase "Two sides of the same coin", with both accepting each other, despite the initial conflict.
- The Two Sidriver is the only Driver in Revice not to be remodeled from or to another Driver, whether by design or function (ranging from visual cues such as the Libera and Weekend Drivers, or in-universe reasons such as the Chimera Driver being remodeled to the Juuga Driver by George, which in turn was inspired by the Revice Driver's usage of Vistamps).
