A Little Thank Ewe!

I'm not kidding either!
The flower is from an ancient Quickutz set, it's a set that you can assemble to make a layered wedding cake with flowers for the top or a slice of cake. It was a set that I thought that I couldn't do without, however, I was so wrong! I think that this is only the second time it has ever been through my Cuttlebug!
Eunice looks so cute here don't you think!
I just added the "Thank" before printing it out, and flicked some grass using a gel pen.

I'm using this card for the following challenge:-

Lay A Little Egg For Me!

I've so many cards in my "yet to blog" file but just don't seem to find the time to post them. Thought I'd share this one that I made for my lovely nephew, I hope he liked it, it's so hard to know what to do for teenage boys but as he keeps chickens I thought it would be the perfect time to break out my long neglected Quickutz die. It took flippin ages to cut out and ink each of the pieces, especially as originally I'd planned on using 13 of them! Oh well, at least I've got a few made ready for next time I want a Fowl card lol!

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
CIOCB, Anything goes,
RCC88, Anything goes, spooled,
BZC, Wings,

Simply Hot And Bright!

Another DT example for this months
 Challenge at Lavinia Stamps.

Yes my colours are hot and bright it's just the minimalistic approach lol! I used one of the new

and doodling some strings with a Copic multiliner to hang my die cut letters from.

I Love This Card!

Inky Stitch, Pierce Or Sew

Morning, it's only 9 am and I'm already on my second post of the day! Goodness, I'm going to be busy when I get home from work, linking up all of the challenges!

It's my turn to host the Ladybug's
and as piercing my paper is one of my favourite techniques, I thought I'd like to see how everyone else does it so that I can pick up some tips ;), if you don't like piercing, you can either inky stitch or get out your sewing machine.

This is my first ever attempt at colouring only with Prisma pencils. The talented Sally has shared hints and tips with me but I really could do with more practice. I haven't really done Football Jack justice!

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Squirrel and Fox 53, Birthday,
CMM74, Childs card,
Crafty Catz 200,Happy birthday,

Time Flies!

I can't believe where the time goes!
It seems like yesterday that my lovely friends daughter started school, instead of that, she's now 8!

A super girlie card was in order,
there's plenty of glitter too but unfortunately, even with squinted eyes you'll be lucky to see it, my camera doesn't seem to pick it up!

Here's what I came up with using my lovely
 "Fairy house" by Lavinia Stamps,
papers by Nitwits at LOTV and a few die cuts!

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
L.S 5, Die cuts,
IMF111, Anything goes,

Fit For A Gardener.

Another card for my friend, this one for a man that likes gardening. "Wellies Delight"  by LCI fits the bill perfectly, it's a shame I used it for my Father-in-law's card last year, it's a perfect Father's day image. I just added a little stamping with a fern image around the digi.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
BS44, Male birthday,
CC77, Stripes,
IMF105, Anything goes,
CME17, Boys aloud,

New Challenge Theme With Southern Girls.

"The Kids Are Alright",That's the new challenge theme with Southern Girls for this fortnight.

I searched out my chipboard numbers to use as templates for a change, I love using my Cricut but thought I'd do some cutting out for a change. I hand cut my stamped butterflies but couldn't be bothered to fussy cut the intricate antennae  how chuffed was I to discover that the bodies from my Quickutz butterfly die looked just perfect glued behind my stamped bodies, I'm definitely taking this shortcut again!

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Whimsy 57, Stitching,
CCC6, For children,
CCC6, Things with B,
IWD, Shaped card.

Seventeen.

These Teenage boys can be tricky to make cards for but with a bit of piercing, inky stitching, die cuts and perfect papers for the job I found this an easy make.

I even used some of the printed tape on the inside for the sentiment.

The piercing gives the illusion of dimension but in reality the card is flat apart from the thinnest of foam pads behind the star which means that there is no need for additional postage charges.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
C4E15, Anything goes,
EE, Birthdays,
HCTB47, No stamps,
KKKK134, Birthday.

Hope you've had a great weekend,

Cheers.

I thought I'd share a card that was requested by a friend for her husband's special birthday.

They run a pub and she was thrilled with this personalized creation.

I'm not a great lover of decoupage, I really don't like lots of layers and foam pads but the images on this sheet were so perfect, nothing else would do.
I decided to just shape each layer slightly and add only a thin squeeze of Pinflair gel instead.

Some numbers cut on the Cricut, ribbling and embossing,

paper piercing and twine along with my favorite, hand cut bunting complete the card.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Fab n Funky 158, It's on the inside,
SOS89, Birthday,
TTCRD, Anything goes,
TT134, Anything goes,
CWLC28, Birthday,die cuts, embossing,

A Christmas Wedding

This is one of the Wedding cards ordered by a friend of mine.

The wedding colours are black, white and silver with  a snowflake theme.

After attending Karen's class, I just knew I wanted to make one of these folded cards for my friend and luckily the "Karen Burniston" Sizzix dies arrived just in time.

Instead of using design papers, I used pearlescent paper which I embossed. I then made a box to match.

Summer Fun Wuth The Ladybugs.

Happy Ladybug Tuesday! it's time for a new challenge and the theme for this month is

For my DT card I used the Magnum Add Ons stamping them on to a selection of pink off cuts and cutting them out, shaping them slightly and placing them on my card using PinFlair Gel. The number and sentiment are from the aptly named set
The bunting is hand cut and inky stitched before adding the name which I punched using Quickutz "Moxie Alphabet"

Please check out the LCI Stamp sale if you fancy treating yourself

Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend!

The theme at Scrapbook Sisters this week is
This can be the shape or gems, I chose to use both for my DT card.
I cut the shapes from glitter film and a long neglected diamond Quickutz die. I then punched some flowers and added Swarovski Crystals to their centres. I stamped the sentiment and used an ultra thin strip of pink bazil which I cut into pieces to underline and not cover the words, adding the tiniest of crystals to one end. A light brush of a pink chalk eye completes the card.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Papertake Weekly, Bingo,horizontal centre,
LIM72, Shiny.

Totally Ladybug Tuesday

It's Tams "Big Birthday" challenge theme this fortnight at Totally Ladybug Tuesday and as a special treat Kerry  has given us a New Release image "Beer Belly Man" isn't he fun! I can't believe that Kerry's practically giving him away at only £1.50!  I aim on giving him a Hawaiian shirt next time I use him but it wouldn't have suited the recipient this time lol!

I flipped the image before printing him out, coloured him with Copics and fussy cut him out. I added some glossy accents to his pint and gave him a birthday badge using some peel off numbers and a domed sticker.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
