Solo Forbidden Area (
Description
Activating Solo Forbidden Area creates a zone around the user that enhances the cursed energy capacity and output of any sorcerer within range, including the user. The technique can be elevated into a ritual using incantations, hand signs, dance, and music. By including all of these steps, the technique's effectiveness can be raised to 120 percent.[1]
Usage
Solo Forbidden Area is not particularly suited for combat as it requires preparation time and is best applied to enhancing allies. Her allies don't believe she's suited for the front line but Utahime's technique enables her to play a crucial supporting role in battle.
When faced with his greatest-ever opponent in Sukuna, Satoru Gojo's powers were amplified by Utahime's technique. Instead of omitting steps for efficiency, Utahime danced to Yoshinobu Gakuganji's music while using gestures and words to elevate her technique into a ritual. This boosted Solo Forbidden Area's potency to 120 percent, using Utahime's maximum potential to amplify Satoru's cursed energy as much as possible. Supercharged by Solo Forbidden Area, Satoru Gojo unleashed Hollow Technique: Purple at two-hundred percent ouput.[2]
Trivia
- This technique's name is inspired by Akina Nakamori's song "Kinku", which shares the same lyrics as the technique's Japanese name: "Sorosoro Kinku". The former pop idol also has a series of albums titled "Utahime".
