Piercing Ox

Piercing Ox (貫 (かん) 牛 (ぎゅう) , Kangyū^?) is a bull shikigami that can be summoned by the Ten Shadows Technique of the Zenin Clan.

Description

Piercing Ox is a large, robust ox with short curved horns, white fur around its mouth, and a long thin tail. On its forehead is a symbol that resembles the Cloth of the Bees. It's summoned when the user creates a shadow puppet to mimic an ox's head.

It's a strong offensive shikigami that attacks by ramming into its target head first. Piercing Ox can only charge in a straight line, but the longer the charge, the more powerful its attack.^[1]

Usage

Piercing Ox was subjugated by Sukuna after he took control of Megumi Fushiguro's body. He first summoned it in his fight with Yorozu.

Despite being clad in resilient insect armor constructed from her innate technique, Yorozu was heavily knocked back by Piercing Ox's initial charge. Piercing Ox continued to charge even after landing the hit, forcing Yorozu to grab it by the horns and toss it to the side with her enhanced strength. The shikigami quickly recovered and was ready to make a second attack. Yorozu hit it with a straight punch reinforced with cursed energy before it could. However, Piercing Ox displayed its durability as it was mostly unphased and only slid backward a short distance.

Piercing Ox charged right back at Yorozu with immense speed, hitting her with even more force than before. Its second successful attack cracked the armor over Yorozu's eye and forced her to realize that while it can only move along a linear path, Piercing Ox gains strength with a longer charge.^[2]
