Tokyo No. 2 Colony, Part 5 (
Summary
Amped up from hitting the jackpot, Kinji Hakari takes on Hajime Kashimo! Even Kashimo is fascinated fighting against Hakari as one of Satoru Gojo's star pupils showcases his true power.
Plot Details
Supercharged with an incredible volume of cursed energy, Hakari rushes in to rescue Panda from Kashimo. He delivers a right hook so powerful that it disarms Kashimo of his staff and sends the sorcerer crashing through several freight containers. Hakari doesn't give Kashimo any time to recover, closing the distance and throwing a flying dropkick his opponent narrowly avoids. While still in mid-air, Hakari swings his legs in an attempt to land a hit. Kashimo narrowly avoids the kick, with his opponent's barely grazing his nose. Hakari's physical power is so overwhelming that his kick dents another shipping container and knocks it over.
Hakari is electrified by the cursed energy protecting Kashimo but he barely feels a tingle. Kashimo is impressed that his opponent can ignore the electrification with pure cursed energy output and asks his name. Hakari introduces himself while Kashimo is fascinated by the mysterious music surrounding his opponent. Kashimo also introduces himself and Hakari realizes that this is the player with the one hundred points that he's been looking for. He asks if he can use those points if he's victorious and Kashimo agrees and asks to know more about Sukuna if he's the victor.
Hakari is suddenly distracted by a large influx of cursed energy received as a bonus from hitting his domain's jackpot. Kashimo uses the opportunity to barrage his opponent with several hits but becomes displeased as Hakari isn't resisting. As he begins to tell Hakari not to disappoint him, the Jujutsu High student interrupts him with an abrupt right hook to the jaw that sends Kashimo flying. After posing, Hakari follows up with a flying knee which prompts Kashimo to admit his opponent isn't bad. Kashimo regains his balance and grabs onto the leg Hakari kneed him with and counterattacks with a spinning elbow. Hakari withstands the attack and forces Kashimo to release his grip by smashing the ground beneath their feet.
Having charged up enough electricity, Kashimo backs off and discharges the same lightning attack that defeated Panda. Hakari is able to avoid a direct hit to his head but his arm is blown off by the attack. Confident that his opponent won't be able to recover in time, Kashimo rushes in to finish him off. However, Hakari surprisingly counters with a kick and follows up with a punch from the same arm that was supposedly just severed. Shocked, Kashimo blocks the attack and assumes Hakari used reverse cursed technique to quickly heal himself.
Hakari never learned to use reverse cursed technique but the unlimited cursed energy coursing through his body as a result of hitting the jackpot automatically heals his body with it. In other words, Hakari is effectively unkillable for four minutes and eleven seconds after hitting the jackpot (the duration of the Private Pure Love Train theme song "Admiring You"). This time limit comes to an end and Kashimo notices the music has stopped and his opponent's cursed energy has receded. However, during the round, Hakari's cursed technique and cursed energy are replenished, allowing him to cast domain expansion immediately. As long as Hakari continues to hit the jackpot, he can use his domain over and over.
