Plot Details
Idle Death Gamble's sure-hit function is the harmless transfer of information to its target. The trade-off is that the activation of the imbued cursed technique is fast, even more so than Mahito's all-or-nothing domain expansion of 0.2 seconds during the Shibuya Incident. The domain apprises Kashimo of its rules even faster than he could give up on using Hollow Wicker Basket to protect himself. With this newfound information, Kashimo realizes that Hakari was granted unlimited cursed energy from hitting the jackpot when he expanded his domain earlier. He's also aware that by lining up three odd-numbered symbols, Hakari will have increased probability this round and is likely to hit another jackpot.
Kashimo relishes the challenge and commends Hakari for doing well so far. Hakari asks Kashimo how he's doing and the latter dismisses the taunt because his opponent is no longer in an unkillable state. Hakari retorts by stating that a life of gambling always carries risk and Kashimo wonders if his opponent can keep that same mindset when he's dead. Kashimo begins his assault and overpowers Hakari with a strong combination of strikes, knocking him unconscious. However, Hakari uses a consecutive effect to replay the sequence and reverts all the damage. Normally using a consecutive effect as an indicator carries a high risk of failing, so Hakari only uses it during increased probability mode. Kashimo quickly defeats Hakari again only for him to replay the sequence a second time.
Hakari goes into riichi mode and enters the potty emergency scenario where the character "Hiro" must reach Yurigoaka station without wetting himself. Both fighters engage in the pachinko antics of the domain until Hiro successfully reaches his destination, resulting in a jackpot from drawing three sixes in a row. The domain disappears and Hakari emphatically calls for the music to begin, activating his unkillable mode where he has limitless cursed energy and a fully automatic reverse cursed technique. Hakari hit the jackpot with three even numbers this time, so the next round won't include increased probability. Kashimo knows that if he can get through the next four minutes and eleven seconds, he can win when Hakari is killable. However, to Kashimo, that is how a loser would think. Instead, Kashimo flares up his electrified cursed energy and challenges himself to kill the unkillable.
Four hundred years ago, Kenjaku found an elderly Kashimo after a battle with other warriors. The field was laced with the dismembered bodies of his enemies but he didn't have any fun fighting. Kenjaku told him about Ryu Ishigori, who displayed the highest output of cursed energy ever, but Kashimo found it dubious because Ryu was too far away. Instead, he asked Kenjaku who the strongest sorcerer he knew was. Kenjaku was confident in stating that Sukuna was the strongest ever and this convinced Kashimo to accept his conditions. He agreed to become a cursed object to eventually be incarnated for the Culling Game simply to get the chance to fight Sukuna.
