How Hard Can You Turn, FD3S?! (そこまで曲がるかFD-3S!!, Soko Made Magaru ka FD-3S!!, "The FD3S Turns That Good!!") is the seventieth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Keisuke notices Nakazato's steering change, and realises that he's going to try and pull away. Keisuke manages to close the gap on each corner. Nakazato is shocked at the speed the FD is taking the corners.

Iketani and Kenji realise that since Takumi's debut they had forgotten how cool uphill racing could be.

Ryosuke calls down to the mid-course lookout, and asks if Keisuke is trailing when leaving a corner. The lookout tells him that he slips back a little, before catching up again. Ryosuke realises that Keisuke's technique is perfect, and that he will be the winner.

Shingo doesn't think that Nakazato will lose. He realises that he'd always thought of Nakazato as an enemy, and that he's only now seeing him as a friend and teammate. He thinks that now, as he's racing for the pride of the entire group, that they're finally a team.

Nakazato is amazed that Keisuke is able to keep up with him, as he's pushing his car to it's limit. Keisuke thinks to himself that he used to be like Nakazato, but that with Ryosuke's help he's become so much better.
