Background[]
Personal Life and Career[]
Sekai Murashige was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.[1] When Murashige was 11 his family moved to Michigan. He got into the acting business at a very young age with the help and support from his parents. Most of his childhood was spent working to improve on the profession and finding more roles, rarely hanging out with friends. Despite getting into several good acting roles as a kid, Murashige was not inspired to pursue the art as a career until his high school production of Ragtime in his sophomore year.[2]
Infinity Train[]
Murashige had just finished college when he auditioned for Ryan. Before September of 2019, Murashige's only knowledge about the show came from the pilot and at the time, the recently released Book One. Thinking he had signed up for a minor role in the first season, he was unaware of being cast as a main character of an anthology series until reading the script.[3] He and Young had the most amount of notes for the series due to their characters' ethnicity, race, and the era.
