If that setting sun is me, then the sun tomorrow will be you, Ultraman Leo.
~ Ultraseven as Dan Moroboshi to Ultraman Leo as Gen Otori in The Day When Ultraseven Dies, is the Day when Tokyo Sinks!

Ultraseven (also known by his human name Dan Moroboshi or by his code name Agent 340) is a major protagonist in the Ultraman franchise, being the third Ultra from M78 to visit Earth overall, following Ultraman and Zoffy.

Having originally been sent to map out the Milky Way, he eventually made his way to Earth, where he ultimately saved a mountain climber from falling to his death. Following this, he then based his human form off of the climber (out of respect for the climber trying to save his friends life) and began helping the defense force team called the Ultra Guard protect the Earth from extraterrestrial threats for over a year until he eventually had to leave it in order to regain energy. Despite this, he would still go on to return to Earth several times in order to help his breather-en out. In addition to this, it would later be revealed that Seven had a son named Zero, who eventually went on to become the most skilled warrior in the land of light.

In human form, he is portrayed by Kohji Moritsugu who also voiced his ultra form from Ultra Seven all the way to Ultraman Geed. In his current appearances he is voiced by Hiroki Touchi.

    • In episode 7, in order to train Gen and help him fight back against Kendoros, he threw metal boomerangs at him so that he could catch it. Unfortunately, Gen initially struggled to catch them, and eventually started bleeding from them. However, despite this, he continued to throw them at him, with him even insulting him by calling him a weakling.
    • In episode 9, when Gen brought up evidence that Alien Giro was innocent and that he only attacked when he transformed into Leo, Seven/Dan ignored him and continued encouraging and training Gen to kill him, claiming that he was like the other aliens who tried to invade Earth. This is despite the fact that there were plenty of aliens who had visited Earth prior that were innocent.
    • In episode 10, despite knowing that Ron was Gen/Leo’s pet and by his knowledge the only remaining survivor besides him, he still judged him for having not attacking him when he had the chance. Furthermore, when Gen refused to kill Ron, he called him naive and even went so far to claim that he wasn’t worthy of being part of MAC.
    • In episode 15, he unfairly scolded Gen for failing to defeat Alien Flip.
    • In episode 19, he disregarded Gen when he brought up how cruel the laws of the village they were at was towards a family who was attacked by Alien Boze. Furthermore, he then went to blame Gen for failing to stop the alien.
    • Overall, while he was trying to help Gen help him become a better hero and was dealing wit being unable to transform and having his legs getting injured, this doesn’t absolve him of his cold treatment of him and his abusive tactics while training him.
