What Makes Her inconsistent?[]

  • Convinces Joel and Tommy to help her escape from a horde of infected, knowing full well that her ultimate intention is to kill Joel.
  • After leading Joel and Tommy to the lodge, she brutally tortures Joel. She shoots him in the leg and then proceeds to beat him with a golf club.
    • This may seem justified but she did it in front of Ellie and his brother Tommy, unintentionally setting the events of the game.
    • Despite Ellie’s desperate pleas to spare Joel’s life, she coldly and ruthlessly kills him by smashing his head with a golf club anyways.
    • After killing Joel, she and her group decide to leave Ellie and Tommy alive, knowing that their suffering and grief will be immense. This shows that she has a sadistic side to her.
  • She's utterly ruthless when it comes to fights:
    • Violently breaks Ellie's nose and arm during their fight in the theater.
    • Bites off two of Ellie’s fingers.
  • When she reaches the hospital, she lies to the WLF soldiers by telling them she is "doing a thing for Isaac" in order to gain access to the medical supplies. This deceitful behavior puts her at odds with her own faction, leading to her arrest and further conflict within the WLF.
  • Kills Jesse in cold blood by shooting him in the face as soon as he enters the room. This action is particularly ruthless as it leaves Ellie and Tommy completely vulnerable, and Jesse didn’t even get a chance to defend himself.
  • Though not directly depicted, her rage and the series of events leading up to her confrontation with Ellie are fueled by the deaths of Mel and Owen, which she clearly blames on Ellie and Tommy.
  • Her intent to kill Dina even after learning that she is pregnant is extremely cruel. Although she eventually stops because of Lev, the fact that she was willing to do it shows how ruthless she can be.
