Kotak Pandora

Kotak Pandora adalah sebuah artefak dalam mitologi Yunani yang berhubungan dengan mitos Pandora dalam Works and Days karya Hesiod.[1] Benda yang disebutkan dalam cerita aslinya sebetulnya adalah guci penyimpanan besar namun kata tersebut kemudian disalahterjemahkan menjadi "kotak".
Pada masa modern, sebuah idiom timbul dari kata tersebut yang artinya "Sumber masalah besar dan tak diinginkan",[2] atau "Sebuah hal yang tampak berharga namun sebenarnya adalah kutukan".[3]
