Overview[]

In the heat of battle, Genthru initially dominates Gon, leveraging his superior skills and Nen abilities. Despite suffering severe injuries, including to both hands, Gon’s tenacity keeps him in the fight. Drawing on the knowledge gained from Biscuit, he adapts to Genthru’s tactics and seizes an opening to immobilize his opponent. As Genthru, drenched in gasoline, unveils his ability Countdown, Gon remains unfazed. With unwavering confidence, he channels an enormous aura into his Jajanken, preparing for a decisive strike.

Synopsis[]

Genthru persists in taunting Gon, but Gon remains composed, rising to his feet and assuming a fighting stance. Acknowledging Gon’s strength, Genthru unleashes his Nen ability, vowing to crush him and render all his efforts futile. Genthru closes in on Gon, seizing his left hand and triggering an explosion with his Nen ability. Gon is momentarily startled by Genthru’s speed, but remains convinced he can block future attacks. Genthru quickly notices that Gon used Gyo to shield his hands, minimizing the explosion’s impact. He also notices the improved fluidity in Gon’s movements, which further aggravates him. Genthru rushes at Gon, unleashing a relentless flurry of attacks, but Gon evades them skillfully. In the heat of battle, Genthru grabs Gon’s hand again. This time, however, he follows with a punch to Gon’s stomach, dropping him to his knees in agony. As Gon writhes in pain, Genthru mocks him, explaining that relying on Gyo to protect one area only leaves other parts of his body vulnerable, rendering Gon's strategy useless. Hearing those words, Gon slowly gets back on his feet and lets out a small laugh, reflecting on what Biscuit said. Genthru proceeds to attack, catching Gon yet again and punching him in the stomach. The force sends Gon staggering back, but instead of going down, He regains his composure and quickly launches a series of rapid attacks at Genthru, who adeptly dodges them. However, Genthru pauses briefly, wondering how Gon managed to withstand his previous attacks, considering they are more powerful than the last one, while simultaneously taking the offensive right after. Genthru concludes that instead of concentrating his Gyo on one area, Gon employs it for a more balanced defense. He considers that Gon might have predicted he wouldn't set off a bomb, but quickly dismisses this notion based on Gon’s expression.

Gon experiences a flashback moment, recalling Biscuit's advice regarding Genthru's ability to avoid damage from his own explosions. As Biscuit continues to teach him, she explains how Genthru meticulously sets up his bombs, utilizing the precise amount of aura to ensure their effectiveness. She emphasizes the disadvantages of not using Gyo when there is no intent to deploy his Little flower, illustrating how this oversight can leave Genthru vulnerable. This recollection reinforces Gon’s understanding of Genthru's tactics and the strategic nuances of their battle. Soon, Genthru realizes this, prompting him to utilize Gyo at all times and on both hands. He then proceeds to taunt Gon while threatening to instill fear in him by highlighting the destructive capabilities of his Nen ability, urging him to give up in light of the overwhelming threat he poses.

Biscuit, dragging an unconscious Bara, encounters Killua, who has also captured a defeated Sub. After a brief discussion, they express their hope that Gon will be able to succeed. Back at the fight, Gon, driven by his selfishness, resolves to implement his own plan, effectively abandoning his team's strategy. Here’s the revised version with "blurry vision" incorporated:

Gon shouts at Genthru, insisting that he should be the one to give up. This prompts Genthru to respond, declaring that there are worse fates than death. He adds that he will blow up both of Gon’s arms as he closes in, his hands covered in aura. Genthru continues taunting Gon, who dares him to initiate the attack. When Genthru lunges forward, Gon tries to escape, but Genthru moves so quickly that he catches both of Gon’s arms and blows them up.

However, Genthru suddenly feels a jolt and is forcefully pushed back, unsure of what happened. Blood drips from his mouth as his vision becomes blurry. Struggling to comprehend the situation, Genthru looks at Gon, who is preparing to charge his Jajanken, surrounded by a massive amount of aura. Astonished, Genthru quickly regains his senses and attempts to flee from Gon’s impending attack, but he finds himself unable to move due to the impact he felt earlier. Just as Gon is about to strike, Genthru falls to his right, narrowly avoiding the blow. However, Gon also loses his balance at the last moment, making his attack miss its mark.

Genthru, realizing how fortunate he is that Gon missed, continues to assess the situation. As he observes Gon, he finally understands what has transpired: Gon intentionally sacrificed both of his arms. Gon's left hand is covered with just the right amount of aura to prevent major damage, while his right arm remains exposed, leading to severe injury and rendering it unable to function. In sacrificing his left arm, Gon channels all of his remaining aura into his feet, delivering a powerful blow to Genthru that temporarily incapacitates him and renders him unable to move. Gon managed to do this while Genthru had concentrated most of his aura in his hands, leaving the rest of his body with significantly reduced aura.

Gon is convinced he has instilled fear in Genthru. Despite the pain from his injuries, he defiantly declares that he doesn’t care, leading Genthru to interpret this as a sign of surrender, believing Gon is satisfied with his achievements thus far. Suddenly, Gon erupts excitedly, summoning his binder and pulling out a card. Initially, Genthru, familiar with Gon’s decks, believes there is nothing to fear. However, as the card transforms, he realizes it is the Wild Luck Alexandrite card. Gon then demands Genthru’s surrender, threatening that he will meet his end at the hands of the very card he wields.

Genthru initially believes Gon is bluffing, but soon recognizes he can capitalize on the situation. With Gon’s binder left open, rendering it impossible for him to close it without saying "Book" one more time, Genthru sets his plan in motion by summoning his binder and pretending to concede. He then invites Gon to take it, which Gon does cautiously. In a moment of distraction, Genthru tries to divert Gon’s attention with a false bargain, launching an attack that strikes Gon in the throat, followed by a swift chop to the back of his neck. Fortunately, Gon shields himself with aura just in time to mitigate the latter blow. However, he cannot speak and cannot close his binder.

Furious at Genthru’s actions, Gon retaliates by launching a card that transforms into a large circular glass filled with liquid. He then blasts the glass, shattering it and drenching Genthru in its contents. As Genthru stands soaked, he realizes it is gasoline, prompting him to back down and regroup. Acknowledging that he can no longer use Little Flower, Genthru reveals his alternative ability, Countdown, and elaborates on its conditions, emphasizing that it is significantly more powerful than Little Flower.

As Genthru advances toward Gon, attempting to instill fear with his words, Gon suddenly smiles, convinced that the situation favors him. He unleashes a massive amount of aura and begins charging his Janken ability. Genthru halts in his tracks, contemplating what Gon is about to do.
