When there's trouble, you know who to call.
~ The Teen Titans' famous catchphrase.
Beast Boy: You know, Cinderblock, normally, the bad guys break out of jail.
Robin: And I can think of five good reasons why you don't want to break in. One!
Starfire: Two!
Beast Boy: Three!
Raven: Four!
Cyborg: Five!
Robin: No matter how you do the math, it all adds up to you going down. So, are you going to go quietly...
Cyborg:...Or is this gonna get loud?
~ Teen Titans confront Cinderblock and prepare to fight him.

Teen Titans are the titular main protagonists of the 2003 TV series of the same name.

They are an organization of teenage superheroes/superheroines that help defend Jump City and the world. The organization is split into eleven groups (Teen Titans, Titans East, Titans North, Titans South, Titans West, Honorary Titans, Temporary Titans, Team Titans, Unofficial Titans, Other Titans, and Future Titans). Although the eleven groups live separately in different cities, they all still communicate and help one another.

History[]

The history of the organization is explained in the episode of Go!. The episode starts off with the scene where Starfire was trying to escape from Lord Trogaar. After she escapes, she unconsciously attacks them and accidentally sets off an alarm then escapes to earth. At the same time, Robin was hunting down a burglar in Jump City.

He unconsciously attacks the burglar and mentioned that he is now independent and disbanded his partnership with Batman. All of a sudden, he spots a green light explosion that came from outer space and starts to follow it to see what it is. People of Jump City started to gasp and were surprised to see the alien girl attack everyone and everything. Fortunately, Robin shows up out of nowhere to save the citizens.

This also led to a battle between the alien girl and Robin. With Raven witnessing the violent scene, she became full of curiosity. Later during the battle, Beast Boy came over out of nowhere and joined the battle to help his favorite superhero. A few moments later, Starfire threw a gigantic bus, but Cyborg arrived just in time to stop it.

Raven, as well, joined the fight. As soon as they all meet, the four heroes joined up to stop Starfire. Luckily, they've won and Robin freed her from her wrist splints. Starfire, on the other hand, kissed Robin to learn English and immediately pushed him off and flew away.

This made Robin want to figure out her true nature to see if she's a threat or not. During that, Beast Boy wanted to be his helper which Robin rejected without hesitation. When he walked to the man with a hood instead, it was proven that the man with the hood on was Cyborg. This made Beast Boy feel impressed of his appearance.

Soon later, they all track down the alien girl and figured out that she is a alien princess from a different world. As a result, she and Robin apologizes to each other for their behavior. As a matter of fact, all five of them join to defeat the Trogaars and formed a team together known as The Teen Titans.

At the end, they all lived together happily at their home called Titans Tower then realized that there are more than just one group of the team. And after all that, Robin and the others gave out communicators to their teammates and everyone else that helped them out and let them join the team.
