History[]
Earth-One[]
Streaky was a stray cat who was adopted by Supergirl after he was saved by her from a vicious dog. One night, Streaky wandered into a forest where he was exposed to a modified form of Kryptonite called X-Kryptonite and gained temporary superpowers. With his new abilities, Streaky served as Supergirl's sidekick for a time, using the X-Kryptonite to restore his powers when needed, and became a member of the Legion of Super-Pets. However, an incident eventually occurred that turned the X-Kryptonite into iron, preventing Streaky from regaining his superpowers again. He continued to live with Supergirl until he was left with her adopted parents when she moved to San Francisco.
New Earth[]
In this continuity, Streaky is the ordinary pet cat of Supergirl that was named after his tendency to have "accidents" which leave streaks on the furniture. Streaky would also tend to break his claws against Kara's invulnerable skin.
Prime Earth[]
On Prime Earth, Streaky is female instead of a male tabby cat and has superpowers once again. She bears a crush on Krypto, but also holds some form of grudge against him. Streaky is a member of the Legion of Super-Pets and is currently living with Power Girl.
