Leonardo is one of the four main protagonists of the IDW comics Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
He is a mutant turtle, adoptive son of Splinter and brother of Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo.
Personality[]
Leonardo is extremely strong, loyal and impulsive towards his friends and family, and is also very calm and under pressure. However, as Donatello says, Leo has a moment of emotional perseverance inherited from Splinter, but less than what Raphael has.
He takes his role as team leader very seriously, and at all times checks on his brothers to do their best like him.
Leonardo is also a bit self-recriminating for every mistake he makes or believes he has made and gets easily annoyed when it seems like his brothers don't listen to him in the slightest, and although he always respects Splinter's rules, sometimes he tends to be a little rebellious to break them.
