Blue Toad is a major character in the Super Mario franchise, appeared for the first time in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, where he serves at one of four players of Mario to go to save Princess Peach who is been kidnapped by Bowser and Koopa Troops. He is one of the two Toads players, alongside Yellow Toad, then they return in New Super Mario Bros. U, and others Video Games.
Here Blue Toad makes his first appearance, together with Mario, Luigi and Yellow Toad he waits to celebrate Peach's birthday, but the Koopalings and Bowser Jr. come out of the cake and kidnap Peach. The four ventures through eight different worlds, stopping Bowser and his minions and rescuing Princess Peach.
After Princess Peach is rescued, Blue Toad and Yellow Toad invite Luigi to ride their balloon after inadvertently, Mario and Peach leave without him.

Blue Toad is again among the roster of playable characters. He and the others visit Princess Peach at her castle when Bowser's airships appear and toss the visitors out using a giant mechanical hand. The four heroes must make their way back to Peach's Castle and save Princess Peach from Bowser's clutches.
