- "You're not even a clown anymore. All you do is work at that overpriced, sleaze joint, and then every year, you come back here to put us through the same tired, old routine. Is there a single, original idea in that head?"
- ―Burnie Burnz, verbally attacking Fizzarolli
Arick "Burnie" Burnz was an imp demon and a minor antagonist in Helluva Boss who made his debut in the episode "MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft Fizzarolli)".
He was an obsessive fan-turned-hater of Fizzarolli since at least fifteen years ago, harboring a desire to collaborate with him to an unhealthy degree.
Appearance[]
The younger Arick was an imp demon with a slim physique, horns that curve inward, a somewhat messy haircut, and little strands of hair on his chin. He wore square glasses with blue lenses, a green T-shirt, and black pants.
In the present day, his appearance remains the same, albeit with some minor differences; he was taller and he has a slightly more muscular physique, the frames of his glasses are thicker, and his T-shirt has stains, and there are three splotches on the bottom left.
Personality[]
Arick has an extreme obsession with Fizzarolli to the point of stalking, then dedicating his life to hating him, and even bringing a knife to make Fizzarolli listen to him. Arick was very arrogant and selfish, showcased with his idea of being together with Fizzarolli as more of a master-pet relationship with Fizzarolli dressed in a gimp outfit with a chain leash and Arick getting trophies.
Arick was also shown to not care how uncomfortable he makes Fizzarolli with his sexual desires or hatred toward him. He also has a tendency to be overdramatic, shown when he believed that Fizzarolli coldly rejected him when it was his own creepy obsession that caused Fizzarolli to leave.
Abilities[]
- Agility - Arick showed some agility when he was following Fizzarolli in the shadows after Mammon's Concert when he was younger. He also managed to climb over a crowd as an adult.
History[]
Past[]
At some point after Arick saw Fizzarolli's shows, he wanted to get into clown performing and became obsessed with him, even trying to sniff around Fizzarolli's dressing rooms.[1]
After Mammon's concert over fifteen years prior to "MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft Fizzarolli)", Arick approached Fizzarolli and tried to push his ideas of the two of them performing together onto him. When Fizzarolli "rejected" him, he instantly switched from his #1 fan to his #1 hater. At some point Arick would then open a review blog dedicated to hating Fizzarolli.[1]
Helluva Boss Season 2[]
"MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft Fizzarolli)"[]
While Fizzarolli is attending a meet and greet with his fans, Arick shows up and denounces Fizzarolli's career, scaring Fizzarolli into backing up against the wall until Blitzo jumps in and threatens to kill Burnie. Burnie continues taunting Fizzarolli, fantasizing about how their relationship would have been like, until Fizzarolli starts hyperventilating and Blitzo hits Burnie with his gun, forcing the stalker to leave.
As Asmodeus and Fizzarolli share a kiss in Fizzarolli's dressing room, Burnie kicks open the door while holding a dagger in order to forcefully have Fizzarolli listen to him. Blitzo then stops Burnie by killing him with a bullet to the head.

Trivia[]
- His review blog is called "fuckfizzbutnotinasexyway.complainer.com.org.gov".
- Despite despising Fizzarolli, Arick still owns some of his sex-bots, which apparently can't get him off right.[2]
- Like Emberlynn Pinkle, he seems to represent the negative and disturbing aspects of fandoms. In his case, Arick seems to represent parasocial relationships which do not respect the subject's privacy and personal space. He could go from loving to hating someone because they felt "disrespected", then he went to passionately hating on the subject they stopped liking.
- His name is similar to Burnie Burns, the founder and the former chief executive officer of Rooster Teeth productions, but there is no obvious parallel to be drawn between them.
