Suri Polomare is a minor antagonist of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, serving as the main antagonist of season four episode "Rarity Takes Manehattan".
She initially appeared to be Rarity's acquaintance during the Fashion Week contest in Manehattan, but was later revealed that she later stole Rarity's designs and claims them as her own, or either has her assistant Coco Pommel to make them for her.
She was voiced by Tabitha St. Germain.
What makes her a Hate Sink?[]
- Even though she was initially friendly towards Rarity, it was then revealed that she was only manipulating her into letting her borrow her fabric materials to copy and steal her designs to make it as her own, backstabbing her as result.
- She is very mean and bossy towards her assistant Coco Pommel by making her do all the work, while she takes all the credit for it.
- When being confronted by Rarity, she admitted of looking out for herself by claiming "It's everypony for herself in the big city", meaning she doesn't even care for her own friends, and even takes advantage of Coco Pommel for personal benefit.
- During the contest, she mocks Rarity for showing off her "copycat collection" even though that Suri was the one who copied said designs, showing how petty Suri is.
- Suri tries to trick Rarity into forfeiting the contest so she could become the winner instead of a runner-up, but was denied when Coco personally delivers the trophy to Rarity.
- She never got her well-deserved comeuppance for stealing Rarity's designs on-screen despite losing the trophy to Rarity thanks to Coco, an indication that she really didn't cared of the fact that she was disqualified. What make Suri worse is that she makes no further appearances in future episodes, which strongly implies that she got away scot-free of her actions despite losing to Rarity, making her the very first pony to be a complete Karma Houdini.
- Though no in-universe were proved to be real, it is implied that Suri was disqualified since Coco took the trophy and might have to tell the other judges about her schemes, but there's no on-screen indication that this was confirmed. Even moreso, she earns no punishment overall and because she makes no further appearances, its unlikely that Suri is ever encountered again (and its also highly likely that she didn't cared that she was disqualified, hence why she gets away with her actions, making her the only pony who receives no deserved punishment altogether).
