John Strode was a minor antagonist in the Halloween franchise making his only appearance as a supporting antagonist in Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers.
John Strode is portrayed as Bradford English.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink[]
- Moves his family into the Myers' house when the property proved to be "unsellable".
- He hates his own daughter and disowned her after she got pregnant with her son, Danny.
- When Kara returns, claims his family was perfect before Kara and her son returned.
- Refused to let his wife, Deborah, help his daughter out when she was giving Kara money.
- Slapped his daughter after Kara called him out for being a prick.
- Refused to listen to his wife's warning about Michael Myers resulting in both of their deaths. In the theatrical cut, his head explodes while in the producer's cut, he gets fatally electrocuted.
- His lack of redeeming qualities made the audience cheer for his death by Michael Myers.
