Daymond is a minor character from The Seven Deadly Sins anime/manga series. He was the older brother of Escanor and prince of the Kingdom of Costellio, who is indirectly responsible for his brothers' banishment.
He is voiced by Himika Akaneya in Japanese and Morgan Berry in English.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- Beat Escanor with a stick and repeatedly called him weak out of envy for "stealing" his parents; attention, despite Escanor having no interest in it and tearfully apologizing to him for something that isn't in his control.
- His abuse caused Escanor to accidentally awaken his power and injure Daymond, causing him to hypocritically scream like a baby.
- Thanks to provoking Escanor, he became viewed as a monster due to his powers and got kicked exiled from his village and began a lonely journey.
- He is insufficiently punished for his actions, as Escanor got outcasted from his home while he only received an injury. It is possible, however, he got killed in the barbaric raid on his Kingdom, though unconfirmed.
