Yosuke Matsuda (松田洋祐, [missing rōmaji]?) is the current President & Representative Director of Square Enix Holdings Co., Ltd.

Yosuke Matsuda has been President of SQUARE ENIX CO., LTD. since April 2013 and President of SQUARE ENIX HOLDINGS CO., LTD. since June 2013, succeeding former president Yoichi Wada.
He has also held different positions in both Square Enix and Taito Corporation, often taking directive roles.
In March 2023, it was announced that Matsuda would step down from his position, to be replaced by Takashi Kiryu.
In-game appearances[]
Yosuke Matsuda has made appearances in a handful of games from Square Enix. He usually appears descending from midair:
- In a lead-up to the release of Final Fantasy XV a special livestream was made in Japan where Matsuda appears as a Level 99 Boss for Noctis to face. Here he shows dexterous movement, powerful sword strikes and the ability to shoot beams from his eyes. In this footage he tried to make Noctis have fun.
- Yosuke Matsuda appears as a powerful boss in NieR: Automata along PlatinumGames' president Kenichi Sato (as PlatinumGames helped develop the game). They display powerful hand-to-hand combat, energy barriers, projectiles and when defeated will heavily bombard the player for a set period of time as a last resort.
