Breach (デバリア, Debaria?, lit. Debarrier), also known as DeBarrier or Debarrier, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series, appearing first in Final Fantasy VII.

Final Fantasy VII[]

DeBarrier is the level 1 ability of the Destruct Materia, which removes Barrier, MBarrier, Reflect, and Shield at the cost of 12 MP.
It is also an enemy ability used by Gi Nattak.
Final Fantasy VII Remake[]
Main article: Breach (VII Remake)
Breach is the first ability of the 
Subversion Materia, which removes Barrier, Manaward, Reflect, and Shield from a single target. It costs both 10 MP and 2 ATB bars to perform.
