The Star type (Japanese 星タイプ/ほしタイプ Hoshi-taipu) is a fanmade type introduced in Pokémon Fatestar.
Star-type Pokémon are often confused with Cosmic-types due to their similar origins, both being from the cosmos. However, Cosmic Pokémon are more resemblant to alien lifeforms, while Star-types are creatures that have star energy as power or, to an extent, are stars.
Similarly to the Solar and Lunar types, the Star type is a semi-hybrid of two other types. It seems to be a combination of Light and Cosmic types.
